Ethan's 11th Birthday!!!

Peter finally got his wish to carve a pumpkin.


Ethan was very kind and helped him as I don't like carving as much as Ethan does.

Peter blew up most of these balloons for Ethan's party. It was pajama day at school - that's why Matthew is wearing his. In case you were wondering!!

More boys in their pajama bottoms. Ethan's grade has only one other boy so he invited the rest of the class which is 10 in total plus two boys from the neighborhood!! It worked out nicely at the school gym.

There is a story behind this cake. I'll have to explain it another day though.

I forgot to bring candles.

I told the boys after they ate it that it had beets in it - they thought that was unusual.
Unusual but very delicious. Beets add a sweet flavor.
