Stuart Farm - December 14, 2013

I mentioned last time that Burnaby Lake outing was our last before we got sick but I was wrong - this was our last excursion before our at-home days.

The next Monday, Matthew fell off the playground at school and dropped five feet.  He hurt his back and head and needed to go to the walk in
clinic to have a once over.  Boys and concussions!!!
This one was minor so we were grateful - HOWEVER I am pretty sure that's where we all got the flu from because that night Peter got sick and it went through the house from there.  The one who didn't get sick was Matthew!!!  Go figure.  He is our healthiest - he rarely get's what everyone else has.
Truly a blessing for him.

Stuart Farm was fun!!  We got there just in time to do a craft and then we went through the house and barns.  It was cold like the Saturday before.  I didn't mind - I'll take the cold over the rain any day!!

Aleana's favorite subject for photo fun.

Here you can see Ethan's big gap from his expander.  In January he was allowed to stop expanding it and since then the gap has closed.  Now, his top canines have room to come in.

We drove to Crescent Beach afterwards and I nursed Madilyn while everyone else
watched the sunset.  Gorgeous!!!

Aleana loves to make gluten-free pie and she does an excellent job with it too!!!

November 12, 2013: Nadia's 3rd Birthday - Part 2

Messy hair girl getting her birthday present right away in the morning.

I'm not a huge fan of barbies but for a bike I gave in.  Thank you Craig's List!!!

Spruced up on time for her little party.

Auntie Michelle, Madilyn and Dylan.

A tea set !!!

I had the kids decorate their own cupcakes as something fun to do and they loved it!!!

Later, Grandma and Grandpa B. came over with their gift and well wishes.

I love the faces kids make when they are trying to open things.

It's an Anne of Green Gables doll!!!
Madilyn in her Sunday best. She started walking around 9 months - the time of Nadia's birthday.

Just falling forward for a good face plant.

This boy loves the camara and always has a friendly smile if you are shooting.
His picture ends up in the school paper almost every week with his arm around a different friend each time.  Who can blame them with that smile?

What a guy!!
