Saturday Trip to NewWestminister Quay

Tug Boats are really quite neat.

The gardens at the Quay are gorgeous!!

It was raining for most of the time.
This picture is just to prove that we do indeed have other children besides Nadia.

And we love them all the same :).

The real submarine that Dad promised to bring the boys to did indeed turn out to be a success.

I feared that they were imagining something much grander and larger, however they were very happy with the "goods" that were promised.

Will and I both remember these items from Expo 86.
Anyone else remember this submarine.

"Oh Captain my captain"

"hum I wonder if these really open?"

One of these will be on Christmas card.

Not sure which one.

Nice how the rain stopped for us to do the pictures.

Good picture Aleana!!

That's Ethan - isn't he getting tall?

Succulant garden.

  1. Peter is hard to see on the ladder picture, but the other one is gorgeous! My attempts at family kid pictures never turn out like that!

  2. The pictures are great. Love those plants! Ethan keeps looking like Will more and more. Why am I feeling sad that they are growing up so quickly? Aleana is no longer a little girl, but a grown woman. Times goes too fast! This is a reminder for me to enjoy my kids now while they are at home and let the housework slide a bit. It doesn't take long for them to be leaving the nest. Hope that thought doesn't depress you! LOL
