Jordan Station, ON April 9th, 2012

On Saturday night Marj drove us to Hamilton to stay with the W. Bredenhof family.

On Monday some of us headed over to Jordan Station - it was gorgeous!!

Ontario - Saturday April 7th

On Saturday we went to see Casa Loma in Toronto.

Funny thing is we ran into people we knew who had their daughter in Sick Kids.

They gave us an extra pass that they had on hand.  We were thankful for that!!

Nadia and Logan remembered each other from previous nursery encounters and chased each other around - it was really cute. 

We had receivers with information about each exhibit we could listen to.

Nadia loved mine so I just let her have it - she would say "Allo, Da???"

What a nice picture!!

I love this picture because of the opened gate and the side tower door beyond. Don't you think they could be part of a story?  That's the romanticist in me showing.

Trip to Ontario - Friday April 6th

In the library at Marjorie's school

They put on an addition two years ago and this is the foyer.

I was quite intrigued by the innovations in education at this school.

For instance, the cabinets in the labs and some classrooms have white board material on them for notes.

I thought these mobiles in the chemistry room were cool.

I loved these tiles made to form the periodic table.  I think that something like this would make an awesome quilt!!!  I took the picture for future reference. 

Now this I loved!!  It's a tube that the rain water flows down and then it's used in another machine to either heat or cool the school.  Only problem they have had is that it get's quite mucky and then needs to be cleaned before it clogs up. 

I love turtles so I look at this mural and I see a turtle - what do you see?
