First Half of July - 2011

Nadia just looked so relaxed for this picture. This is when she had a goopy eye.

We just picked out the fabric - said to ourselves "hummmm what should we do with this fabric?"

In hind sight I would have made an even smaller square in the middle - our starter square was too big. Over all it turned out really nice for not planning anything. :)

Aleana and I made a little baby quilt for Greg and In Hee's baby. - due on Christmas day!!

Now we have to make quilts for all the cousins.

Please be patient - this may take awhile.

Aleana's Grade Seven Graduation - June 23, 2011

So starting from the beginning...

Auntie Michelle came over to do Aleana's hair.

So pretty!! It was really special that Michelle could be a part of the occasion.

We went to Grandma and Grandpa B's for pictures. Grandma was still in recovery mode from back surgery, but they still managed to come to most of the ceremony. She's a toughie!!!

Aleana wanted Nadia to have a similar dress but I felt that would take an enourmous amount of time to make or find so instead Aleana was content with dressing her in a totu.

We had a small gathering at our home afterwards.

It was an eventful evening and we are very thankful that Aleana did so well in grade seven!!

She certainly learned alot in the past year and has grown in alot of different ways.

We wish you all the best in high school Aleana!!!
