In October Maranatha received another minister from the LORD.
This was the second time in my life I have seen the laying on of hands.
I missed it with brother Wes because I was nine months pregnant with Ethan :(.
There are no words to describe this event. To say it is beautiful is too simple yet full of complete truth at the same time.
This was exciting because Will was included as one of the elders. You can see him better in the first picture above. Aleana was the official church photographer so that's why I have these nice pictures :).
Elder Struik reading the subscription form to Rev. Schoof . He also read a charge to the congregation that was
responded to with a loud "We do"!
Shaking hands afterwards.
Here is the crowd for the Welcome Evening.
Children's choir singing - Matthew and Peter are on the side.
We sang "Joy in the Morning" and we hit all the high Gs at the end - it was exhilarating!!!
Me, doing a presentation from the Thursday Morning Bible Study.
Kresha Faber doing a solo - I missed the performance as Madilyn had to be nursed and put to bed.
Will was the MC.
Rev. Schoof thanking everyone.
We love the Schoofs already and we are so thankful to the LORD for answering our prayers and sending us a shephard. What a blessing!!! Every time we give up a minister, He blesses us again and shows us His love.
To say spirits were high is an understatement.
Funny story - I'm in this picture and I didn't even recognize myself. I thought "I wonder who that lady is - she looks a little like me, maybe a bit older". Isn't that hilarious???? I'm the lady in back on the left. Age??? Well, she feels alot younger than she looks obviously!!!
