That's how steep it was. I was quite thankful that Peter was old enough to handle it.

Both of them, with Matthew in front came running back to the campsite in a panic. Matthew was crying in fear and exclaimed "I think I saw a fox!!". Dad calmly said "Let's go back and have a look." Matthew had only seen the ears so it's understandable that he thought the deer was a fox. Both boys were very excited to see a deer so up close.
